Smolder

I didn't want to do this, but you leave me no choice. Here comes the Smolder

These kids are so adorable, and hilarious. And they frequently try and use the smolder to get what they want. Which is followed by Beckham telling me I "broke" his smolder

Something good.... isn't Tangled one of the best Disney movies in YEARS?? I think it's definitely in my top 3! And Flynn Rider? Hot cartoon guy!

Sick!

You know when you get a head cold and it doesn't go away.... for weeks? Yeah that's where I am, it's causing a lot of pressure, a lot of pain, I'm exhausted and on and on.

Good thing my kiddos are so sweet to me. I'm laying in bed and Sydnee asks if she can rub my feet with lotion.... well you don't have to twist my arm

Little boys don't have very long attention spans and within minutes he was goofing off

Syd then climbed into bed to read with Mommy, we also shared a bowl of popcorn. Perfect moment

Beckham then got sick, so he and I have been laying around on the couch buddies. He has been sleeping with me since Sydnee mentioned that he had woken up coughing and crying the night before and his room is too far away for me to hear him (that's my least favorite thing about my house, the seperation of the rooms)

He was so cute when he was asleep that I had to take a picture. Then I realized I had taken some pics of Syd sleeping a few weeks ago. No matter how bad a day, how frustrated they may make me, or whatever is going on, seeing my kids sleeping just melts my heart

Nostalgia

I've lived in CO for 5 years, yet still I miss my friends. The girls you grow up with, where no matter how long it has been, once you see each other it's right back to what it was. The girls who encourage and inspire, you kept each other out of trouble in high school. Were bridesmaids at each others weddings, and you cried a little at the reception. You can name their children's birthdays, and in general these are the girls who you will always love. I haven't really made friends in CO. A lot of that is my fault, but I do feel left out sometimes. I want to be a part of their little group, but in the meantime, I will just cherish the friends I have, even if they are far away.

Sorry Sean, but you were totally part of my group. And your wife is great and so now I miss you both

Red, White and Blue

I love the 4th of July. It's warm, I don't have to buy presents, I just get to plan a relaxing day where we all stuff our faces and let our kids run around crazy, followed by an entertaining fireworks show and sugar hyped kids. I actually really look forward to it and took half of the day off. We seem to be splitting our 4th of Julys, one year we stay in Colorado, the other year we go to Blanding, UT. Blanding actually has the best parade, carnival, melodrama, and fireworks show ever. And I usually get to spend quality time with Brea in Blanding. But we did that last year, so Lisa made me promise that this year would be a Colorado Springs year.

He doesn't always look at the camera, he will smile but will look to the side. And I'm constantly saying "Beckham look at me!" and he always screams back "I'm AM!" this is a not so happy with Mommy and the camera face....

I braided and put flowers in her hair, she looked in the mirror and decided she was the Princess of 4th of July. She's so beautiful

There is a HUGE burn ban in Colorado right now..... but Chad doesn't seem to listen to that. He's been traveling for work and got a massive stash. We had to go home early so I could get some sleep before work. But Chad let Syd light one. He's the greatest almost Uncle!

Something good.... Beckham went to his first "Real" boy movie and saw Transformers with Ryan. He fell asleep about 45 min before the end, but he LOVED it! He's growing up
